Cuando un niño tiene dificultades en la escuela, es tentador quitarle las cosas que ama, incluido el Taekwondo. Pero después de casi 30 años de enseñanza, esto es lo que he aprendido:

El Taekwondo no es el castigo. Es el camino hacia la disciplina.

When a child struggles at school, it’s tempting to take away the things they love—including Taekwondo. But after nearly 30 years of teaching, here’s what I’ve learned:

Taekwondo isn’t the punishment. It’s the path to discipline.

Training develops self-control, focus, respect, perseverance, and the ability to recover from mistakes. Taking it away can sometimes have the opposite effect—leaving children feeling disconnected, frustrated, and without the positive structure they need most.

At Ultimate Kicks Taekwondo, we believe challenges at school are opportunities to build stronger character and lifelong skills.
