GetFit1st-Fitness Studio had the honor in participating in the 15th District’s National Night Out at Columbus Park. Such a beautiful day in the Chi helping kids get ready to go back to school, while local businesses team with CPD to have a great night and give back to the community with food, games, and activities (also highlighted with a little league baseball game, shoutout to those boys!).

Well, this video is what it’s about… giving back. I love this city more than one can truly know. I wasn’t born in Chicago, but I was here damn near every other weekend with family so it’s apart of me. I live in this city, am a business owner in this city, and Coach in this city, seeing this city successful and inspiring at least one to not be average is what I strive for.

I love giving back, life sometimes is about the little things.

As I get older, I feel the Lord is showing me my true purpose here.

Earlier this month my brotha and I had the pleasure of issuing a black belt to one of the kids who made me fall in love with coaching.

Congrats .town.gugi on achieving your black belt and thank you for helping me grow the passion I have for coaching and teaching that started years ago and is so strong today.

If you don’t allow your students and those who are younger to teach you in things you’ll never grow.
