Hey there, Insta fam! 👋 As a 44-year-young dad juggling 4 amazing kids, I've got my hands full. I can either do a day time activity or a night time activity, but never both. lol.

Dad of 4. You gotta be ready for anything.
Didn’t have “rower tries to kill me while my assistants supervise” on the bingo card today.
Garage gym with twins is never just a workout.
What’s the most random thing your kids have done to your workout?
God, please let my body last until my family no longer needs it. I’ll do what I can to preserve it.

I used to be either 100% perfect or 0% screw it.
100% = chicken, rice, 90 min workouts. Lasted til Wednesday. 0% = missed workouts, missed trash day, walk of shame with the bins at 6am.
Both sucked.
I’m not an expert at this balance stuff. I’m fairly new to sourdough and I don’t drink daily. But here’s the lazy version I’m actually sticking to with 4 kids and a garage gym:
One cold jar in the fridge. I use it mostly UNFED for pancakes and pizza for the kids. Only feed 100g when I actually want real bread.
And that freezer door pour you saw - it’s not a nightly thing. When I do want one on the weekend, I batch simple + bitters right in the bottle. 20 sec pour after kids are down. No 10 min mixing.
Plus ice cream on a rock with my kids doesn’t ruin anything. What you do MOST of the time matters.
And I train to carry my daughter upstairs asleep, not for abs.
That’s it. No 100% or 0%. Just consistent-ish.
If you want what I’m actually using - my lazy jar ratios, the weekend freezer pour method, and the 20-min whiteboard I use in the garage - comment BALANCE and I’ll DM you my real notes.
No Club yet, just figuring it out as I go and sharing what sticks.

You don’t need to quit pizza, beer, or ice cream to get in shape.
You just need habits that make those things fit your life instead of derail it.
Most dads don’t struggle because of what they eat on weekends…
They struggle because of what happens Monday to Friday.
Fix the habits → the results take care of themselves.
