We wrap up our solo routines with “Mean Time” by Lyla.

Lyla placed 1st in her category and another top 10 finish with 6th place overall! This was a wonderful routine to watch all season.

Our next solo to highlight is “Hold My Hand” by Elizabeth!
She was 1st in her category and landed at top 10 finish with 8th overall. This lyrical routine was so much fun to watch all season!!!

Today we will highlight a few of our “big girls” and their solo routines. If you’ve had the pleasure of watching these dances, you already know how dominant they are on stage!

This group had A LOT of stiff competition, and as always, they represented the studio very well!

Our last duet to spotlight is “This Shirt” by Ashlee & Emalyn. This routine did well all year, and nationals was no different!

These girls placed 1st in their category and 8th overall!

Our next group of duets from nationals came from our 9-11 category.

With nationals in the books, and we have all had a couple weeks to recover from the extraordinarily great week in Sandusky, it’s time to start sharing some of the results of our top performing routines! First up are a couple of duets from the teen 12-14 category.

Both routines landing a 1st place score in their respective categories

Coming in 2nd place overall, and winning a judges award - “Sisters” performed by Ava and Elizabeth.

Coming in 5th place overall - “Always On Your Side” by Brynlee & Rylee

Our competition team is performing this week at Nexstar Nationals in Sandusky OH. Here are a few sneak peaks of how it started on Wednesday.

This competition is HUGE with lots of amazing dancers from all over. Our girls have their work cut out for them!

We have quite the pleasant surprise to announce today. Our girls competed at the Nexstar regional competition in early April. Both routines, Runway Walk & Silica, won regional champions for their respective groups that weekend.

The results have been released and BOTH routines made the cut! They have been announced as the SDA champions!!! Such an exciting way to celebrate heading into nationals week next week.

** Regional Champions at all Star Dance Alliance Regional Competitions are automatically entered into the SDA Power Rankings.

The Regional Champion is the highest scoring routine in each performance level and age division (small groups, large groups & lines combined) for the entire competition.

The scores from all SDA Regional Champions will be entered into the Power Rankings each week. The Top 10 scores will be listed in alphabetical order throughout the season. At the conclusion of the regional season, the Top 3 routines will be named the SDA Power Rankings Champions**

If you had the pleasure of watching our senior, Mara Parkins, perform her finally recital routine, you likely didn’t see the view from the stage. It was something truly special! All of her teammates lined the curtains to support her on a very emotional final performance!
