It’s hard to put into words how much this year has meant to me. This journey has been filled with blessings, unforgettable experiences, lifelong friendships, and memories I will carry forever. Having the opportunity to wear this crown and represent the western way of life, our traditions, and the values that make our community so special has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

To my family and friends, thank you for being my biggest supporters through every early morning, late night, parade, rodeo, and everything in between. Thank you for always showing up, cheering me on, and believing in me. This crown may have sat on my head, but I could never have worn it without you.

As I take off the crown, I leave with a full heart and a lifetime of memories. I hope I have done justice to the traditions I was lucky enough to represent.

As the dust settles on the 2026 Hell on Wheels Rodeo season, we celebrate and thank our 2026 Queen, Sage Scoggin, for the time and dedication she has given to the Hell on Wheels Rodeo.

Throughout her reign, Sage has represented our rodeo with grace, enthusiasm and a genuine love for the Western way of life. From grand entries and community appearances to welcoming fans and representing Hell on Wheels wherever she went, she has worn the crown with pride.

Tonight, as Sage takes her final lap as our reigning queen, we hope she takes in every moment. While her reign may be coming to an end, she will always be part of the Hell on Wheels Rodeo family.

Sage, thank you for representing the Hell on Wheels Rodeo. Here’s to one last ride around the arena.
