Our new pink gear carries a little extra meaning. Our special “Mary’s Crew” T-shirt features the Great Bridge Crew logo on the front and a breast cancer awareness ribbon on the back — a way for our GBCC family to stand together in support of those in our community currently battling cancer.

The shirt is now an official part of the GBCC rower kit, giving our athletes a fun, unified look as we head into Breast Cancer Awareness Month and beyond.

Whether you’re a rower, parent, grandparent, friend, alumni, or one of our many supporters near and far, wearing GBCC gear is a simple way to show that you’re part of this crew. And every purchase helps keep our rowers on the water by supporting the equipment, maintenance, boathouse rental, transportation, uniforms, and other costs that make our program possible.

Local Pickup: Choose local pickup and collect your order at our Great Bridge Crew tent at the Chesapeake Waterways Market on Sundays in Great Bridge, or arrange pickup through a GBCC rower you know who can collect and deliver it to you.

Shipping: Continental U.S. shipping is available for an additional shipping cost.

Orders placed through September 23 will be followed up with directly so we can provide an estimated arrival time.

Great Bridge Crew had a great day yesterday participating in Chesapeake’s 2026 Bra-ha-ha 5k race to raise funds to improve breast health care and provide free mammograms in our area.

This is a cause that impacts so many including one of our own Crew parents so coming together to highlight the importance of early detection and treatment was so worthwhile. The energy was so positive and uplifting and we had so much fun celebrating the hope, fight and love surrounding all those who battle breast cancer. They are an inspiration to us all!

Our rowers & families showed up in full force this weekend for our fall season maintenance day. Grass was cut, boats rigged, oars painted, parts fixed, boathouse cleaned, and many other tasks completed to set us up for a smooth season.

Getting prepared for a season has so many moving pieces and we love that our team comes together to get it all done. Our rowers & families truly know the meaning of picking up an oar to row together. Go Great Bridge!

We’re back! Great Bridge Crew hit the water this morning for our first practice of the 2026/2027 season! It was a beautiful morning to come back together as a team on the waterway we love! We are looking forward to a successful season together!
