As the sun sets on another Cheney Rodeo…

The vendors have packed up and headed home. The cowboys, cowgirls, animal athletes, and our incredible contract personnel are already chasing the next rodeo down the road. The bucking chutes sit quiet. The arena rests. The parking lot is clean, and we’re hoping our amazing volunteers are finally getting some well-deserved rest.

It’s amazing how quickly a place so full of cheering fans, hard work, laughter, and unforgettable moments becomes still again.

To our volunteers; you are the heart of the Cheney Rodeo. Thank you for the countless hours you gave before, during, and after rodeo weekend.

To our sponsors; thank you for believing in this tradition and investing in an event that brings our community together year after year.

To our contestants, stock contractor, contract personnel, and vendors; thank you for bringing your talent, professionalism, and passion to our arena.

And to every fan who filled the grandstands and created an atmosphere unlike any other… thank you. You are the reason this tradition continues.

It takes an entire community to make the Cheney Rodeo possible, and we are incredibly grateful to every single person who played a part.

As tonight’s sunset fades over the arena, we’re already looking forward to welcoming you back next year.
