...We sell Osprey, but I can't get a new pack now because my old gear is the stuff of legends and won't die. Older than most of my employees. Not light and fast, but bomb-proof and will hold more weight than you should ever pack on your teenage spine for a month in the wilderness... and you will live talk about it in your 40s at the chiropractor.

I remember where I was on 9/11/01
On campus in Ann Arbor studying in an internet cafe.
I watched the second tower fall on the T.V. in Espresso Royale.
My dad flew to NYC for work regularly and I wasn't sure if he was flying that day.
We couldn't get calls through.
My roommates and I sat in front of the T.V. in shock.
My family was safe that day.
My thoughts are with those who were not so lucky on 9/11.
Many of us graduated in the aftermath of 9/11 with friends and family going off to war in a completely different social, technological, and economic environment than we had started with in college.
Man, it gives you perspective.

School has started and thus, it is time to think about all of the fun Fall festivities!
That, of course, kicks off with Dolly Day on 9/25.
AND JUST in case you were wondering. I am having a good hair day. Thank you. I did a Badger Balm hair mask before washing with DIP this morning and now the curls are hydrated and happy.

These are polarized, bomb-proof, Italian-made sunglasses that are comfortable and athlete-friendly!
