๐๐ญ๐๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ข๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ has joined GPS as our new Head Varsity Volleyball Coach. Steve brings more than 30 years of experience as a coach, player, and program leader across indoor, beach, sand, and grass volleyball. Since 2014, he has served as Director and Head Coach of XSV Beach Volleyball, where he has led athlete development, training, and competitive programming. His coaching experience also includes serving as Head Coach of national teams at Vortex Volleyball Club, along with leadership and board governance roles with both Vortex Volleyball and A5 Chattanooga.
Steveโs depth of experience, commitment to player development, and proven ability to build competitive programs make him a strong addition to GPS Volleyball. Steve and his wife Paula are proud parents of two GPS alumnae, Claire โ22 and Chloe โ22, and current senior, Catie โ27.

GPS is excited to introduce Laurie Nafe as our inaugural Director of Athletic Training! Laurie joins us from The Brook Hill School in Texas, where she served as their Head Athletic Trainer. With experience spanning independent schools, public schools, middle school athletics, and strength & conditioning, Laurie brings a wealth of sports medicine expertise and a deep commitment to student-athlete care.
In her role, Laurie will oversee all aspects of athletic training and sports medicine at GPS, working alongside Michael Loving and our partners at Center for Sports Medicine to ensure exceptional care and coverage for our student-athletes. We are thrilled to welcome her to the Bruiser family!

GPS Athletics is partnering with Rising Stars to bring a five-week girls flag football league to Chattanooga this fall!
Open to girls in grades 2โ8, the league will focus on skill development, competition, leadership, and sportsmanship while introducing athletes to one of the fastest-growing sports in the country. Games will be played at GPS, and registration is now open!

Maud Fiorello was named Girls Tennis Player of the Year after an outstanding season on the court, while her fellow Bruisers were recognized for their achievements in their respective sports.
