Most people think strength training is about what happens inside the gym. But sometimes the biggest wins happen outside of it.

When Toni first came to OTHISI, she was already dealing with significant hip pain. Just a few months after getting started, she underwent a hip replacement. Now, another hip replacement.

The difference this time?

She isn’t worried about the surgery.

She isn’t worried about the recovery.

After a year and a half of consistently building strength, she knows her body is more prepared than it’s ever been. The only thing she’s dreading is taking a break from the gym.

That’s what strength does. It doesn’t just help you lift heavier weights - it helps you recover, move with confidence, and face life’s challenges knowing your body is capable.

We’re cheering you on every step of the way, Toni. We can’t wait to have you back doing what you love! 💪🏻

One of the things we talk about often at OTHISI is that strength has a purpose.

It’s not about how much weight you can lift.
It’s not about chasing a number on a scale.
It’s about having the strength to fully participate in the life you want to live.

We train so we can keep showing up for the people and moments we love most.

The ability to pick up your grandkids, play on the floor, go on adventures, stay independent, and keep living life on your terms isn’t something we should take for granted.

Strength gives us options.

And for Toni, that strength means being able to hold her grandbabies today and for many years to come.

That’s what fitness is really about. 🥹🥰
