Monitoring the heat is so important, especially when exercising our animals. During these extreme heat weeks, please be understanding if lessons have to be canceled or rescheduled. Horses and riders safety is our top priority!

Journal of Equine Veterinary Science published research that shows that horses begin to become heat stressed when the sum of the temperature and the % of humidity gets above 150
Example Temp—98* + 55%-humidity =153
Riding in these conditions can lead to dehydration, heat stroke and even death.
When in doubt, don’t ride out!!

June Camp was the highlight! A small shower couldn't put out the campers excitement! From riding, arts and crafts painting horses, scavenger hunts and loads more it was action packed one day!
