Week 1 was full of defenders flying to the football.
Brantley Ellis of Wayne Christian leads the state after opening the 2026 season with 21 total tackles, while Harrison Judd, Ayden Foster, Maddox Cody, and the rest of this group wasted no time making their presence felt on defense.
