We lost against Vancouver Rogues Rugby, 38 to 0.
We won against San Diego Armada Rugby Football Club, 19 to 21.

Friday:
We lost against San Francisco Fog RFC, 15 to 0.

Saturday:
We won against Seattle Quake Rugby, 5 to 29.
We won against Knights of the Muddy Barons, 0 to 31.

Today (Sunday):
We play Manchester Village Spartans RUFC at 09:50 am (it’s 06:30 am).

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a program designed to teach participants how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health concerns or illness and substance use disorders. The program provides participants with the skills and confidence to provide initial support to those experiencing a crisis. Through evidence-based practices, MHFA equips individuals with practical skills to offer initial assistance and guide individuals towards appropriate care.

You do not need to be a therapist to be helpful. You can learn how to recognize signs of concern, respond with care, and connect someone with the right support.

This Saturday, Charlotte Royals Rugby Football Club and CLGBTCC are presenting Adult Mental Health First Aid training and professional certification, led by certified instructor Rikki Bower, MSW. The training covers mental health and substance use awareness, su***de prevention, panic attacks, psychosis, overdose response, connecting people with appropriate resources, and self-care for those who support others.

• Location: Carolinas Impact Center
• Cost: $75 per participant
• Certification: Valid for three years
• Proceeds support the Charlotte Royals and help sustain q***r grassroots rugby in Charlotte.
