Per a league source, veteran WR David Moore will return back to the Carolina Panthers on the team’s practice squad. Unsurprising move .. Dave Canales’ guy.
WR David Moore was one of the 10 players the Carolina Panthers waived with the 'vested veteran' label. It means Moore is not subject to waivers before being able to be claimed to a team's practice squad.

The Carolina Panthers officially placed 2nd-year RB Trevor Etienne on injured reserve. Etienne got rolled up on and left Carolina's preseason finale against Houston.
