NASCAR Hall of Fame

Today, we remember and celebrate NASCAR Hall of Famer Wendell Scott. A trailblazer both on and off the track, Scott became the first African American driver to win a NASCAR Cup Series race in 1963 at Jacksonville Speedway. Over the course of his career, he earned 147 top-five finishes and 495 top-10 finishes in NASCAR’s premier series while paving the way for future generations of competitors.

Seven drivers. Seven Crown Jewel victories. And not one of them won another NASCAR Cup Series race.

From Johnny Mantz winning the inaugural Southern 500 in 1950 to Regan Smith’s upset at Darlington in 2011, these drivers found Victory Lane on some of NASCAR’s biggest stages.

Happy birthday to NASCAR Hall of Famer Ray Evernham! A pioneer of innovation in the garage, Evernham helped transform NASCAR competition through his attention to detail, technical expertise and commitment to performance. As the crew chief behind Jeff Gordon’s rise to stardom, he helped lead the No. 24 team to three NASCAR Cup Series championships and 47 victories from 1992 to 1999.

Happy birthday to NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Inman! One of the most successful crew chiefs in NASCAR history, Inman helped guide some of the sport's greatest drivers to victory, including his legendary partnership with Richard Petty. Throughout his Hall of Fame career, he earned eight NASCAR Cup Series championships and more than 190 premier series victories as a crew chief. He also played a role in the careers of other NASCAR legends, including working with Dale Earnhardt during the early years of his career.

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Kyle Busch.

A dominant force across all three NASCAR national series for more than two decades, Kyle Busch won a combined 234 races, earned two Cup Series championships and set a Cup Series record with at least one win in 19 consecutive seasons.

He’s also part of NASCAR’s winningest brother duo. Kyle joined his brother, Kurt, at the NASCAR Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony this past January as Kurt took his place in the Class of 2026.
