Some bodywork to finish today’s clients but FIRST we started with corrective exercises. The body releases when it feels safe and it feels safe when it is balanced. You can not stretch, pop, or massage your body into PERMANENT alignment. It needs activation, strengthening, and to learn motor control in new ranges of motion.
Working on knee stability with internal and external cueing. These are meant to be done slow and controlled but I sped up the video for viewing purposes. Try not to shift hips as you descend.

There are times in your life when being “balanced” will hold you back from achieving something bigger than your current self. I preach balance A LOT. It’s essential for long term success in your health and fitness journey….but every once in a while, it’s time to reach for something more. It’s time to push yourself well past your comfort zone so you can level up. Think of any of the “greats” in any field. None of them achieved greatness by staying balanced. In fact, they were damn near obsessed! Long term, that’s not a healthy approach, but short term having some extra focus and discipline can be exactly what you need to shed that old skin and step into a grander version of you.
