We are extremely excited to announce that Carter McMurray has joined MKM for multiple races in 2026. This is special to the MKM team as 19 years ago today his father Jamie McMurray delivered our team owner Michael Klein's first NASCAR Cup series win at Daytona International Speedway as the teams Jackman and Mechanic. Full circle moment!

Following a breakout career in karting where he won track championships at Trackhouse Motorplex and raced nationally, McMurray transitioned to Legend Cars and Crate Modifieds. In 2025, he moved up to the SMART Modified Tour, where he has quickly become a standout competitor.

We are looking forward to delivering Jamie his son's first late model win in 2026. RACEMKM.com

We had a great day of testing today and loaded up early when track repairs started. Unfortunately we will not be able to race tomorrow with the current conditions. We applaud Tri-County Speedway for the proactive approach and can't wait to be back soon. Hope everyone enjoys America's 250th Birthday tomorrow and has special times with loved ones. Great night at Hickory Motor Speedway. Mason Walters led the way with a win in race #1 and a runner up finish in the second race. Paitynmaryjane.Motorsports had another strong run with a 3rd place finish and was in position for a second podium until she was unfortunately taken out with 4 laps to go and rallied back to a 6th place finish. Jake Kolber had a 6th and 7th place finish in his return to Hickory competition. Bringing fast race cars every week and watching our drivers grow their race craft is a special experience, and we are grateful for all of our team members.
