Weekend Recap:
What a night! Carter McMurray swept the entire event winning his first pole position and going on to win his first late model race in race # 1. After the 9-car invert Carter worked his way to the front and captured his 2nd win in race #2. Dominating performance and we are so proud of him.

Paitynmaryjane.Motorsports drove her guts out fighting an ill handling car all weekend long but still captured two top 10's and kept the car clean. Unfortunately, we missed the setup a little this weekend but we will get back to work today and be a lot stronger at the next event.

We keep saying it but we have the best humans driving our cars and working on them. Everyone supports each other (See PMJ in victory lane with her teammate) and we are so thankful for each of them. Truly have something special going on. Win #6 of the season!!

Back to the Limited Late Model at Hickory.
Looking forward to watching Carter get back behind the wheel of the No. 40 MKM Racing Development car next Saturday night. He’s had a couple of really solid runs at Hickory so far, and I’m excited to see what he can do in this one.

WE WANT TO BRAG on this one. Paitynmaryjane.Motorsports has grown leaps and bounds as a driver this season and we are so proud of her. She is currently representing Hickory Motor Speedway on the national level and is leading the Nascar Division 1 Rookie of the Year standings for the entire Southeast. Obviously she is leading NC Rookie of the Year as well, along with the track championship points standings and Big 10 series with only three races remaining. In addition to that no female has ever won a championship at the most famous track in the country She has battled adversity all season long and continues to excel every week. She is hoping to represent the great racing and competitors at Hickory Motor Speedway by closing it out. Regardless of the outcome she has had a phenomenal season and grown as a driver. We are so fortunate to have amazing humans driving our cars and working on them. This picture summarizes everything. about MKM. Our drivers hang out away from the track and support each other through everything. Legitimate friendships being made while competing.

Tonight's race for us was over before it started as another car missed a shift knocking the front end off both our cars. However, these two remained in the fight and after speedy repairs by the team under green they remained in the race until completion. No quit in anyone on this team. People make all the difference in a team and we have the best. Thank you to our partners, families, friends, and everyone supporting this group. We are so thankful for all of you!
