Two days away from Galentines Doubles Brunch! Bring a partner or you’ll be matched up with someone.. or two! Or play lone wolf if you want. It’s chill, do what makes you happy.

DIRECTIONS TO the parking lot closest to the shelter at LAKE CORRIHER
265 Tranquil Lake Dr, China Grove, NC 28023
Park near the playground and log cabin recreation center. Walk along the path to the right of the cabin and take a left onto the walking trail. The shelter will be 200 feet down the walking trail on your right (midway along hole 2).
Second parking lot: 955 Kimball Rd, China Grove, NC 28023. You will need to walk between the two giant welcome trees (near park sign by the practice basket) over a bridge, follow the path along hole 1 and past the front of the welcome cabin. The shelter will be 200 feet along the path on your right.
NEEDS: Please bring chairs

I have the sign up sheet below for our Galentines Doubles Brunch Round on 2/1/25 at Lake Corriher!! Feel free to pair up with a friend or we can pair you with someone else who doesn’t have a partner!
We are doing a grill based menu with sides (pre-pattied hamburgers, hotdogs, ect). I have added the stuff we need and feel free to add to it.
Stay for the second round of doubles afterwards!

2/1 Brunch

EXCITING UPDATES FOR THE NEXT BRUNCH!
You are gonna want to take your time and read through everything that is written (as someone who skims large paragraphs and misses important info, I feel it’s important to be reminded).

The next Brunch will be held February 1, 2025 at Lake Corriher Wilderness Park in China Grove. We will be celebrating GALENTINE’S Day with a Doubles round! You can pick your own partner or we will match you up with a lady who doesn’t have one.

The usual schedule will be tweaked. We will TEE OFF at 10am, THEN we will have Brunch. The Brunch Menu will be hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, ect. Sign up sheet to come later.

Now things get extra exciting! Jackie Goodmurphy ‘s brain child is coming to fruition!

To keep the love vibe alive, we are inviting your partners to show their love by setting up the brunch & grilling the hamburgers/hotdogs while the women play their morning round. Then, they will be invited to play the Mixed Doubles round starting at 130.

An entry fee for the mixed doubles round will be a CTP of your choice for $20 or less.

It will be a great day of two rounds of doubles shared with all of our favorite people. Please reach out to me (Keyta Irene )or Jackie if you have any questions.

Next Brunch Feb 1 at Lake Corrier where we celebrate Galentines Day with a doubles round and a second optional round of mixed doubles- more info to come!

TOMORROW IS THE DAY! The Holiday inspired Brunch! Everyone arrive at 945 to set up our food items. We’ll eat then head out on the course our a non competitive round. Just HAVE FUN! I encourage you not to keep score, take mulligans, and pull it out into the fairway after a bad jank.
After the round, there will be a Disc Swap and Throw Pink will have s’mores!

Wow! October was a whirl wind and I wasn’t able to promote the Traveling Women’s Disc Golf Brunch as much as I wanted! IT’S NEXT SATURDAY! Not a lot of people have signed up- so get to it- pretty please! The link is in the comments.
It’s a holiday inspired menu or just something that you find comforting/like home.
