Jared Horne 28’ (uncommitted). Horne who has shown off 92mph at the facility, just logged a complete game - 7.0ip, 14k’s, 0 BB, 1 run in a 4-1 victory for Anson High School

On Deck Academy is proud to announce the commitment of Ty Matheson (2026 On Deck O’s/Alexander Central HS) to Pfeiffer University!   Ty is such a solid and reliable player. He takes pride in his daily preparation and he loves to compete. He is a talented middle infielder, scrappy hitter, and a pleasure to coach. Ty makes his team better in so many ways and he will undoubtedly make a meaningful impact on the Falcons’ program. Congratulations to Coach Bolton and the Pfeiffer University staff on landing a special student-athlete for this recruiting class!

We would also like to congratulate Ty and his parents,  Crystal and Shannon, on this wonderful achievement.  On Deck Academy appreciates the efforts of Coach Hardee and the ACHS Coaching Staff during Ty’s developmental and recruitment process.  We look forward to following Ty’s continued success at the next level with the Falcons!

Tommy Shaw (Erskine commit) and O’s class of 2026 is currently sitting at 5th in the state of North Carolina in runs batted in (RBI’s) with 26 of them.

Next week, On Deck Academy will be operating on a Spring Break schedule. The Academy will be open from 9:00am-5:00pm for the week of April 6th-10th
