Around the Crown 10K Together with Truist

Get the whole family involved! Our Kids Run is one week away at 11:00am on Saturday at the Expo powered by OrthoCarolina. This 9 and under jaunt will be a .277 mile course in front of the Bojangles Coliseum! We will have 3 waves of speedsters starting with 7 – 9 year olds, then 4-6 year olds, and then the cutest 3 and unders. Parents are welcomed and encourage to run with their youngsters... if they can keep up!

In 7 days, we kick off our two day Expo powered by OrthoCarolina and we're soOooo pumped to have you join us! We've expanded this year to multiple days to better serve you, the runner. Friday is meant for those of you that may work uptown and want to swing out and have lunch with us from one of our three food trucks. Saturday is combined with our Kids Run and for those that may be coming in town for the weekend. Feel free to come to both days!

Every Labor Day Weekend, we transform I-277 into something it was never designed to be - a place where thousands of people, not vehicles, come together to move, celebrate, and experience Charlotte from an entirely new perspective.

We believe that same spirit should extend beyond the course itself and include the people who will be on it. We’re excited to announce the return of our Pay What You Can Program, presented by Truist because it means that our starting line will be more representative of our city itself.

A limited number of runners will have the opportunity to choose an entry fee that fits their financial situation because everyone deserves the chance to experience the energy of race day, the pride of crossing the finish line, and the community that makes Around the Crown so special.

Together with Truist, whose purpose is to inspire and build better lives and communities, we’re helping remove one of the biggest barriers that can keep someone from the starting line: registration cost. Since 2021, Truist has helped us raise nearly $50,000 for 1,350 registrants impacted by this program.

We have 350 registrations available through the Pay What You Can Program this year on a first-come, first-served basis.
