50 years ago, on Tuesday, April 13, 1976, the Charlotte Orioles played their very first game at Clark Griffith Park — later renamed Crockett Park — in Charlotte’s Dilworth neighborhood.

To Celebrate our 50th Anniversary, the Charlotte Knights will be honoring our team’s history on Thursday, May 14th.

The Knights players will take the field wearing Charlotte O’s jerseys, and several former O’s players and managers will be in attendance for the celebration.

Cal Ripken Jr. bobbleheads will be given to the first 1,500 fans. Presented by Lowe’s.

If there are any additional O’s players who would like to attend, please message this page ASAP.
