This scenic course was cut out of the woods and is located on beautiful, rolling terrain. Strategic shotmaking is the key to scoring at The Tradition, with its winding, tree-lined fairways. It was designed by John Cassell, and contains 6 holes where water comes into play and 55 bunkers over a hilly and wooded terrain. New MiniVerde Bermuda greens, Bermuda fairways and roughs. Rated #3 Toughest Area Public Golf Course by the Charlotte Business Journal 2002.

Meet the Team: Wayne Gibson! 👋
We'd like to introduce one of our outstanding team members, Wayne Gibson!
Wayne, a retired Pfizer sales representative since 2010, moved to Charlotte from New Jersey ten years ago. He worked at Highland Creek Golf Club for two years before joining the Tradition team in February 2022.
When he's not at the course, Wayne enjoys golf, gardening, staying active, and visiting museums, botanical gardens, and college campuses. He's been happily married, has one son and two grandchildren, and says the highlight of his golfing life was making a hole-in-one on Father's Day!
We're grateful to have Wayne as part of the Tradition team. If you see him around the club, be sure to say hello! 😁
