Aside from getting more sleep, one of the main reasons I changed my schedule in February to free up Wednesdays was to create dedicated time for projects around the gym.

I still work out on Wednesdays, but now I also have a window to tackle the little things that often get pushed aside. Recently, I moved the speaker into the corner so it isn't blasting directly into my ear while I'm on my laptop during sessions, installed new weatherstripping on the front door to help with a millipede issue, and lubricated all of the barbell sleeves.

These tasks would eventually get done either way, but having a dedicated day to handle maintenance and improvements keeps everything running more smoothly

Got a good bit of yoga blocks off Facebook marketplace. Likely won't be doing a ton of yoga but I use these for a variety of things. Specifically going to try and make a little barricade on the platform to prevent the loaded bar from rolling off my arthritis deadlift blocks

Flipped the ghd and extension/curl combo. Regular moving plates from the combo to T-bar row so seems more efficient.

Not the most exciting gym upgrade I've posted about but the outdoor mat is looking a little rough. New one on the way.

Left is old setup, right is new setup.

I installed the dragonfly wall mount. I thought I would be able to mount behind adonis tower but would have to partially disassemble for that so I have it connected to the side and is working out fine. Slightly more range of motion because the handles don't have the upright between them. Makes it feel more natural from the new starting point. Can now also use all 4 weight horns if necessary. I've been using it 4x/week πŸ‘
