🚨 𝗪𝗘 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗔 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗞! 💦

Well, Park Sharon, it’s not quite the kind of “𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚” we were hoping to add to the fields. 😂

We’ve discovered a leak and, unfortunately, had to shut off the water, which means our bathrooms are temporarily out of commission. 🚫🚽

But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! We have 3 porta-potties on campus available for everyone to use while we work with QHMS/CMS to get the issue resolved.

And you may be wondering… 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗖𝗠𝗦? 🤔

Because while we rent the fields, CMS still owns them, so we’re working with the folks who own the pipes, water and, apparently, the occasional surprise underground fountain. 😉

We’re on it and working to get everything back up and running as quickly as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding and grace while we get this sorted out.

❤️ 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 ❤️

Lives can change in an instant. Over 23,000 children experience sudden cardiac arrest each year, and 40% are sports-related making it the leading cause of death in young athletes. That's why 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲 has supported PSAA with CPR resources to help prepare our organization so that we have the skills to respond confidently during a cardiac emergency.

Over the weekend, a representative from the 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲 provided our staff and coaches with a Hands Only CPR demonstration, teaching our coaches the importance of CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) awareness, and emergency preparedness as part of our ongoing effort to support PSAA’s Cardiac Emergency Response Plan.

Together, we're building a stronger, safer community and empowering more people with the skills needed to save a life. ❤️ We’re proud to announce that PSAA now has an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) onsite!

Tonight’s storms wreaked havoc on our fields, leaving behind plenty of water and debris. We have some cleanup to do, and we want to give the fields as much time as possible to dry before everyone arrives tomorrow.

ALL baseball evaluations will now take place tomorrow afternoon from 1:00–3:00 PM on Fields 1, 3 & 4.

Park Sharon is looking to add a few players interested in Fall Challenge Baseball at the 9U, 10U & 12U levels!

This is a great opportunity for players who want to have fun, compete, and continue developing their skills and baseball IQ in a competitive environment. 💪⚾

One of the great things about Fall Challenge Baseball at Park Sharon is that there is 𝙣𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝙍𝙚𝙘 𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣. Players can choose to play Challenge Baseball only, making this a great option for our multi-sport athletes who want to participate in another fall sport while still getting on the diamond and keeping their baseball skills sharp.

PSAA offers a unique baseball experience in that we have 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 teams, 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 teams and even the option to grow into 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 baseball as your athlete ages and improves on their baseball ability.

Our 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝟭𝟮𝗨 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 has started their trek north to Cooperstown Dreams Park ahead of Week 13 check in day, Tuesday, August 11th. After an unforgettable summer that has already seen one Park Sharon team take the field in Cooperstown, we are thrilled to watch our second team of the summer begin their own CDP adventure!

𝙏𝙬𝙤 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨. 𝙊𝙣𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮. 𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚.

The road to Cooperstown has been filled with long practices, batting cages, tournament weekends, hard work, and plenty of family support. These boys have put in the time, earned this opportunity, and now it's time to enjoy every bit of it.

There is something incredibly special about watching these players follow in the footsteps of the many Park Sharon teams who have made this journey before them. They know the stories.
