The Stephen Russell Memorial Tournament is a yearly match up that officially kicks off the season fo Stephen played in Western Canada.
The ACCHL Stephen Russell Memorial Tournament is a yearly match up that officially kicks off the season for the Atlantic Coast Collegiate Hockey League. The tournament is held in memory of the goaltender who proudly played for the NC State Hockey Club from 2006-2009. Stephen Russell (May 22, 1986-July 4, 2009)was born in Grand Falls-Windsor, in the province of Newfoundland, on Canada’s East Coast.
