Trainer Spotlight! Meet Carrie💪
Carrie Maxwell is a former collegiate and professional athlete, and current Division 1 coach turned Trainer and Yoga instructor. After playing soccer at UNC Charlotte and professionally in Sweden, Carrie began coaching soccer at the collegiate level. She found success with conference championships and an NCAA final four run with Lenoir-Rhyne and then returned to her Alma Mater as an assistant coach. She made the change from coaching NCAA soccer to personal training and teaching Yoga, with the aim of bridging the gap in performance and recovery of athletes and individuals. Carrie focuses on details, consistency, and intentionally pursuing small wins.
Carrie recently returned to her coaching roots joining High Point University as an assistant coach with the women’s soccer team. Carrie still offers 1-on-1 sessions at One Athletics, using her wide knowledge base and experience to help seasoned athletes and beginners alike.
