One of the most common questions I get from junior golfers and parents is:

“Why do scores change so much between casual rounds and tournament rounds?”

It could be one of these 3 things or a combination of them:

1️⃣ Stop giving yourself redos or better lies in practice. You’re only cheating your own development. You can bet those shots will come up in a competitive round

2️⃣ You don’t need to do extra things just because it’s a tournament. Stick to the same habits and routines you follow when you play well outwith tournaments

3️⃣ Keep the same mindset as non competitive rounds. Process over outcomes always
