Great start to the fall season for the CoulOak Black Widows 18U going 2-0 in pool play at NSA Midnight Madness earning them a #3 seed in Gold. Although they got knocked out in the first bracket game, the girls faught hard and took a stride as a unit.

Through our first 3 games, the team is hitting .324 with a .510 OBP, has scored 15 runs, collected 12 hits, and is a perfect 8-for-8 on stolen base attempts. On the defensive side, our pitchers have combined for a 3.89 ERA and held opponents to a .231 batting average.

Offensive Highlights
•Mayson Greiner (2028) opened the season red hot, going 3-for-3 with a 1.000 batting average.
•Leilani Swanson (2028) hit .750, scored 3 runs, and added 2 stolen bases.
•Madison Williams (2028) reached base in 4 of her 5 plate appearances for an impressive .800 OBP.
•Gracen Goke (2028) delivered extra-base power with 2 doubles, 3 RBI, and 3 runs scored, leading the team in RBI’s.

Defensive Highlights
•Mayson Greiner (2028) and Nora Cole (2028) were perfect in the field with 1.000 fielding percentages.
•Lauren Haggins (2028) contributed in the circle with 3.2 innings pitched, allowing just 1 hit and posting a 1.91 ERA.
•Kamryn Quill (2027) and Madison Williams (2028) pitched a shutout together.

The best part? This group is just getting started. Proud of the hustle, energy, and teamwork shown by every player this weekend. Let's keep building and keep competing!
