I help busy men and women escape the confusion surrounding sustainable weight loss & fitness.

I didn't lose 80 pounds for the scale. I lost it for this.

Every photo here is a place my health let me stand — a waterfall with my wife, a trail in the fall color, a canyon rim, close enough to wild bison and a grizzly to remember it the rest of my life.

That's what I mean by memory dividends. Health is the capital. These moments are the payout. Every good habit you build is a small deposit, and this — being able to say yes to the trip, the climb, the long day outside — is what it buys back.

There was a version of me that couldn't have done any of this. I changed that. So can you.

The scale was never the point. She was.

Every one of these is a moment my health let me show up for — the Grand Canyon rim, a ski day in the sun, the holidays lit up, a night out, and a lazy summer sunset on the beach with the woman I've done all of it with.

That's what I mean by memory dividends. Health is the capital. These moments — with the people you love — are the payout. Every good habit is a small deposit, and this is what it buys back: the energy to say yes, and the years to keep saying it.

There was a version of me, 80 pounds heavier, who was quietly opting out of all of this. I changed that. So can you.

Who's the person you want more of these moments with?

One small call for you: I wrote it as "my wife" to match the voice of last week's post, but this one is so personal that naming Cheryl could land even warmer — say the word and I'll swap it in. And same standing offer as before: the master keyword map is still the thing I'd build next whenever you're ready.

Angels Landing. Zion. One of the most exposed, demanding hikes in the country — chains bolted into the rock, drop-offs on both sides, a climb you have to earn.

I'll be honest: there was a version of me that had no business up here. Too heavy, too winded, too worn down to even think about it. That guy stayed at the bottom and watched.

Here's the thing I keep telling my clients. I didn't change how I eat to shrink a number. I changed it so climbs like this stayed open to me. So when the trail turns straight up and the air gets thin, my body says yes instead of no.

Standing up there, I wasn't thinking about my weight even once. I was just grateful to be a person who could still get there.

Every good habit is a deposit. This ridge is the payout. Health was never the goal — it's the ticket to the view.

🚨 **Before you spend another dollar on organic produce, watch this.**

You do NOT need an all-organic grocery cart.

But there are some fruits and vegetables where I think spending the extra money makes more sense.

I broke down the **2026 Dirty Dozen + Clean Fifteen** into a simple presentation that shows you:

🍓 What I buy organic
🥑 What I wouldn't spend extra on
🧪 What the new pesticide data says
🚿 What washing actually accomplishes
💰 How to shop smarter without spending a fortune

I've also created a handout you can take grocery shopping.

If you're on a GLP-1 and fighting nausea — read this before you touch your dose.

Here's what most people don't realize: the nausea usually isn't the medication. It's the meal.

There are five foods that make GLP-1 side effects dramatically worse, and most people are eating at least three of them without even knowing it. Then they assume the drug is too strong and start talking about lowering the dose — when the real fix was on the plate the whole time.

So I put together a list: the foods quietly making you miserable, and exactly what to eat instead. Same convenience. None of the misery.

Comment GLP and I'll send it straight to you.

Meet Doreen.

She's been with me almost a year now, on the Balanced program — and when I asked her what changed, the first thing she said had nothing to do with a number.

It was this: she's more active. Going to the gym isn't a hassle anymore. And she walks in and does her own thing — no coach at her side, just her, back in charge of her own body.

Yes, she's down about 15 pounds. But here's the part she wanted people to hear: it came off slower... and it's staying off. The inches keep going. That's what real looks like.

"The internet's full of crazy information," she told me. "I like people to know this is real — real people." She's right.

That's the whole point of this work. It was never about a quick number. It's about getting your energy, your movement, and your confidence back — and keeping them.

Doreen, thank you for sharing your journey.

If you've been seesawing for years and you're tired of it — this is what the other side looks like. Send me a message and I'll tell you how it works.

Stop paying to get scammed. 🚫

Detox teas. Cleanses. "Melt fat in 7 days." It's all designed to take your money and leave you exactly where you started.

Here's what they'll never put on the label: your liver and kidneys already detox you — for free, every single day.

The stuff that actually works is boring:
Real food.
Protein every meal.
Eating on a rhythm.
Showing up when you don't feel like it.

No quick fix lasts. Habits do.

Drop a 🙋 if you've wasted money on a "fix" that did nothing.

Sunrise over the mountains. Up early, nothing aching, nowhere I'd rather be.

Here's the truth I come back to again and again: I didn't lose 80 pounds for a number on a scale. I lost it for the mornings — the ones where I'm up with the sun, out on the trail, and my body still says yes.

There was a version of me that slept through mornings like this. Too tired, too heavy, too worn down to want them. Not anymore.

This is the payout. Every good habit is a small deposit, and a morning like this is what they buy back.

Twenty-some years in, and a sunset like this with Cheryl still stops me in my tracks.

People ask why I'm so relentless about health — this is why. It's not about the number on the scale. It's about being here, being present, and still catching your breath over your wife against a Gulf sunset.

That's the whole point. The memory dividends. All the small daily choices that add up to more moments like this one.

Here's to more sunsets. 🧡

🍓 **Do you really need to buy EVERYTHING organic?**

No.

And that's exactly why I put this presentation together.

The **2026 Dirty Dozen** gives us a much simpler way to think about pesticides and produce.

There are foods where I believe your organic dollars are better spent — and others where buying conventional makes perfect sense.

A few things I cover:

🥬 The 2026 Dirty Dozen
🥑 The Clean Fifteen
🧪 What the pesticide residue numbers actually say
⚠️ The new PFAS “forever chemical” findings
🚿 What washing produce can — and can't — do
💰 How to prioritize organic without blowing up your grocery bill

And here's the most important part:

**I DON'T want this information making you afraid of fruits and vegetables.**

My message is the opposite.

**Eat MORE produce. Shop smarter. Don't be scared of your food.**

I created a complete **Pesticides & The Dirty Dozen video presentation + handout** that walks you through it.

Want it?

👇 **Comment DIRTY12 and I'll send you the video + handout.**

And **follow Coach Bret** — I'm breaking down more of the confusing health and nutrition information we're bombarded with and turning it into things you can actually use.

**Anything is possible.**
