Being OK with slowing down. I was constantly obsessed with getting better and more.
Embracing imperfection. I was letting any mistake I made impact how I saw my value.
Leaning on my people. This means telling my friends when I’m actually not okay instead of “Good, you?!”

“I used to able to do this college?! Why is it so hard?” - 40 year old male client
Our bodies change with time and lifestyle habits. This can be hard to accept!
I struggled with the changes my body went through after two pregnancies.
I have conversations with clients A LOT about how accepting that our bodies are different now isn’t a form of giving up. Your body has a history and we want to accept that history while we build our work out routine and healthy lifestyle.
A huge misconception is the idea 💡 that if we accept we are older or that our bodies have changed that we cannot get stronger.
False❌
I have worked with so many adults who are 40-90 years old, who all got stronger or faster or more flexible!
Step 1 was figuring out what training style their body needed TODAY versus trying to replicate their college day workouts from the start.
I have met people who didn’t start running until their 30s.
I had a client who didn’t lift weights until her 60s.
Accept your body. Learn how to move.

1) Childcare directors
- 90 minute Virtual Forum
- Interactive speaking event with a primary focus on providing tools and education on how to improve one’s well-being while working a high stress job.
2) Network group for small business owners
- 20 minute in person speaking event
- How to manage stress as business owner followed by a 5 minute mindfulness practice
The topics are different by my mission remains the same. I want the participants to feel empowered on how to take care of themselves and create sustainable change.
Living a healthier life does not have to be exhausting or restrictive. It’s about creating habits that align with your values, lifestyle and goals and ensuring that it is something you can maintain for the long haul without feeling miserable.
