I know that many are wondering what our plans will be for this year’s event. At this time, we will not have the street vault in June as planned. As this will be a USATF sanctioned event, we will follow their lead and work with the Whitewater Center to reschedule the event either later this year or in 2021.

We hope everyone stays healthy and safe, and we can’t wait to see you all on the runways again!

If you’ve never been to the Whitewater Center, it’s a great place to explore the outdoors and enjoy some great food and drinks. Plan on spending an entire day here if you come to the Charlotte Street Vault!

This is a great write up one of our high school pole vaulters here in NC. Spencer Evans just won the Millrose Games with a jump of more than 17’!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting him when he was a freshman on a day when he seemed to figure out a lot about PV and jumped over a foot over his previous best. Those are really the best moments in this sport, and if you come to the Charlotte Street Vault, I guarantee that you will see some of these moments...

Spencer Evans Soars To State Record Vault At Millrose Spencer Evans of Lake Norman became the first North Carolina Pole Vaulter ever over 17 feet at the Millrose Games.

Mondo Duplantis just set the new world record in the pole vault! And at just 20 years old!

The “Stick Jumping“ program takes some of the principles from pole vaulting and gets kids who may not have an opportunity to vault to learn some of the physics involved by doing and being active!

I’m incredibly excited to announce that this year’s competition will be held at the Whitewater Center in Charlotte! Come out June 5th and 6th to watch some amazing jumping right next to the roaring rapids. Athletes of all ages will be trying to soar to new heights!
