We have had a pretty good season so far at P&G Outfitters. We want to thank all of our clients that have come to do some duck hunting with us in the Mississippi Delta. Here a few photos from some of the guided hunts we held this year. Now we hope to finish this season off strong!

It’s the time of year when many species of waterfowl take advantage of waste grain in harvested fields. Waste grains are simply grains missed during the harvest process that remain scattered in fields and available for many wildlife to consume, including many species of waterfowl.

In fact, several studies have shown that waste grain (especially corn) comprises most of the energetic content consumed by mallards, Canada geese, snow geese, and other species in some regions during fall migration.
