Tango Sin Culpa

Some Tuesdays just remind me why I love Charleston Tango Community. ❤️

Yesterday’s class and práctica with Helene Erickson was simply wonderful.

Very abrazo-oriented. Very practical. A class that went back to the roots of tango and reminded us that the basics are never “basic.” They are where tango lives. And no matter if you’ve been dancing for three months or thirty years, there’s always another layer to discover, another detail to polish, another embrace to improve.

What made me happiest was looking around and seeing Gino’s full of curious tangueros. New faces, familiar faces, questions, laughter, conversations, tandas… everyone learning from each other.

I could really feel the community embrace.

Thank you, Helene, for sharing your knowledge with such generosity. And thank you to everyone who came, danced, and made another Tuesday feel like home.
