My name is Samantha Antley and I am incredibly excited to officially join the team as your new dance instructor.
Dance has been the defining joy of my life for as long as I can remember. Raised by a wonderful, supportive family who championed my artistic pursuits as a child. Movement has always been my greatest source of happiness and self-expression that my daughter (age 6) and I have now rediscovered together.
I was drawn to Heart Beatz because of the studio’s outstanding reputation for wanting to inspire young kids, vibrant energy, and commitment to the community. I chose this role because it perfectly aligns with my desire to foster a positive, inspiring environment where students can discover their own passion for dance and become whoever they want to be within the dance world.
I am truly looking forward to collaborating with the team and connecting with our students and families very soon. LETS HAVE SOME FUN!

We are SO excited to have Emma Kate joining Heart Beatz as our full-time teacher and Studio Coordinator at our James Island location! Our team already absolutely ADORES her, and we know our dancers and families will too! 💗✨
Emma Kate is a dance educator, choreographer, and performer who recently made the move to the Charleston, SC area!
She began dancing at age two and quickly fell in love with the art of dance. Emma Kate has experience in both competition and concert work and has taught dancers ages 2–16 in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre, and strength and conditioning.
In addition to teaching, Emma Kate has choreographed both theatrical productions and concert works, fostering artistry, creativity, and strong technical foundations in her dancers.
She is passionate about creating a positive and encouraging environment where dancers can build confidence, develop their skills, and discover a lifelong love for the arts.
We can’t wait for our James Island dancers and families to get to know Emma Kate and experience the joy, energy, and passion she brings to Heart Beatz! 💕
