This year for Season 5, we wanted to do things a little differently. Our All-Stars aren’t only the ones who step onto the basketball court — some of our greatest All-Stars are the people who continue to show up for our community. 💙🧡

We are proud to introduce our Season 5 Community All-Stars:

These three are true pillars of the Charleston community. From pouring into our youth to serving our elders and families, they have given back in countless ways and have touched more lives than they probably realize.

Over the years, each of them has faced their own health battles, but even through those challenges, they continued to show up, serve others, and do God’s work. 🙏🏽

That is what being an ALL-STAR is truly about.

This one is BIGGER THAN BASKETBALL. 💙🧡
In August 2023, the City of Charleston officially recognized Coach Flip Simmons Day, honoring Delonza “Flip” Simmons for his leadership, dedication, mentorship, and unwavering commitment to our community.

But the proclamation was only a reflection of work that had already been happening for YEARS. 🙏🏽

Coach Flip continues to use basketball as a bridge—bringing together youth, families, law enforcement, coaches, mentors, and the Charleston community. Through The Flip League, he teaches our young people that the lessons learned on the court—discipline, accountability, teamwork, respect, faith, and perseverance—will carry them far beyond the game.

LEADER. MENTOR. COMMUNITY BUILDER.

Coach, today we celebrate YOU. 👑

🚨ALL-STAR PLAYERS ENTER FREE! Players must provide their name at the door and should arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled game.

👕 Rental jerseys will be provided by The Flip League and MUST be returned to a Flip League staff member immediately after your game.
