Today, some of our kids stepped onto the competition mats at Jiu Jitsu World League for the very first time, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Watching their growth throughout their Jiu-Jitsu journey has been incredibly rewarding. The extra hours they’ve dedicated on the mats are paying off, and we can see their confidence, technique, and resilience improving every day.

At Gracie Barra Chantilly, our commitment goes far beyond preparing students to win matches. We are dedicated to carrying on the legacy of Master Carlos Gracie Jr. by teaching authentic, high-quality Jiu-Jitsu while helping our students develop the values that will guide them for a lifetime.

Through Jiu-Jitsu—and competition—our kids learn discipline, courage, humility, perseverance, and respect. Those are the lessons that matter most, both on and off the mats.

Every drill, every round, and every challenge is helping these young athletes become stronger—on and off the mats. And no matter how tough the training gets, it always ends the same way: with respect. 🤝

Week 3 of our Summer Comp Camp is in the books! 🥋

Watching these young competitors absorb new details, apply them during drills, and test them during sparring is one of the most rewarding parts of coaching. Progress in Jiu-Jitsu isn’t built in a single class or even a single tournament. It is built through consistency, repetition, and the willingness to keep showing up and putting in the work.

The medals may come later, but the discipline, confidence, resilience, and work ethic they are developing are rewards they will carry with them for life.

Proud of the effort this team continues to bring every day. On to Week 4! 💪🔥

In celebration of America’s 250th Birthday, Gracie Barra Chantilly will be closed from July 3rd through July 5th.
As we celebrate this historic milestone in our nation’s history, we pause to honor the courage, sacrifice, and enduring spirit that built this great country. We are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy and for the opportunity to come together as a community both on and off the mats.
We hope you and your families have a safe, joyful, and meaningful Independence Day weekend filled with pride, gratitude, and celebration.
Classes will resume on our regular schedule after the holiday closure.
