Pro Edge Performance Training is owned and lead by Derek Kennard Jr. Derek has a certification as a Professional Trainer from National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CPT). Derek strives to help everyone he trains exceed their best and realize their potential. Derek has an extensive athletic background and is a Certified Personal Trainer. His football career started by winning a state title while at Desert Vista High School. He then went on to become a 4-year starter at the University of Nevada Reno earning all-conference honors 3 of those years. He made an immediate impact his freshman year making the all freshman team and capped off his senior season by being named the defensive MVP and earning a trip to the Hula Bowl. After his collegiate career, Derek was signed by the Indianapolis Colts in 2004 and spent time with the Ottawa Renegades of the CFL in 2005.
