Established in 1913 and open 364 days a year, the San Marcos Golf Course is unlike many “target-styled “ golf courses in the Valley. Players love our wide fairways and towering salt cedar trees that both frame the fairways and provide much welcomed shade in the summer months.

A lot has changed since golfers first teed it up at San Marcos in 1913.
The clubhouse may look different. The equipment may be different. The game has certainly evolved.
But one thing hasn’t changed — golf has been happening here for more than 113 years.
From time to time, we’ll be sharing a little San Marcos history — old photos, stories, people, and moments that helped shape our course and its place in Arizona golf history.
This September 11th, San Marcos Golf Course is honored to recognize the men and women who serve our communities.
