Franklin County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Center

Franklin County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Center We provide a traditional therapeutic riding program, a program for those on the autism spectrum, and Our program is located on 25 acres in Chambersburg, PA.

The facility consists of a 10-stall barn, 2 outdoor and 1 indoor riding arenas, pastures and trails. Weekly lessons taught by PATH/CECTH certified instructors are available for children and adults with physical and/or mental disabilities. While participating in the program, students will learn riding or driving skills and basic horsemanship skills through mounted and unmounted activities.

The success of the ๐…๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ค๐ฅ๐ข๐ง ๐‚๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ’-๐‡ ๐“๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ฉ๐ž๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐œ ๐‘๐ข๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‚๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ depends on the support of many people, both in and out of the barn.

We are currently looking to add a few members to our Advisory Council. You don't need to know anything about horses. What matters most is a willingness to share your time, ideas, and enthusiasm for helping our program continue to serve riders in our community.

Advisory Council members help provide guidance, support fundraising efforts, build community connections, and contribute to the continued growth and sustainability of our program.

๐†๐ƒ๐‚, located on Kennebec Dr. in Chambersburg, raised $1,000 for Franklin County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Center. They hosted a golf tournament and held a raffle and we were the lucky recipients. Cadbury was thrilled to model for a picture to help them out.
