Congratulations to Trojan Field Hockey alumna Carla (Shearer) Christian! Carla was inducted into the Chambersburg Athletic Hall of Fame this weekend.

During her time at CASHS, Carla played on 10 varsity teams, including four years in field hockey. She helped the Trojans win a South Central Athletic League title, Mid Penn Division I crown and two District 3 tournament appearances. Additionally, she was a three-time Public Opinion first team all-star nominee and a Mid Penn all-star.

Carla continued her field hockey and basketball careers at Bloomsburg University, where she is a member of the Huskies' Hall of Fame (2003). Her collegiate years yielded two NCAA Division III championships and two runner-up finishes, as well as All-American recognition in 1985 and 1986.

Today she is the executive director of the Chambersburg YMCA and a proud supporter of Trojan Field Hockey. Congratulations, Carla!

Join us for our Youth Night Celebration on Monday! 🏑

Athletes K-8th grade are invited to join the Trojans on the field for a pregame ceremony (in between the JV and Varsity games). Athletes should meet with Booster Club members by the home concession stand around 5 p.m. to head down to the field.

Varsity is set to face CD East at 3:30.
