Today was another awesome day in the beautiful marshes of Delicroix Louisiana. The fishing is on fire 🔥. Joey and his crew put a hurting on the fish. We kept our 12 Reds with a few bonus black drum, but that only tell some of the story. I lost count on how many over and under reds we released. The best part is as the weather starts to cool down for fall the fishing is only going to get better. We still have some open dates for September and October but they are filling up fast.

Today I had the pleasure of taking Miss Shirley her husband Mr. Dan and their daughter and Son-in-Law, out in the beautiful marshes of Delicroix. We started out targeting redfish with little to show for it, so we switched gears a caught 34 beautiful fresh water cats. On the way to the dock we made 1 last stop and hit pay dirt. We ended the day with 34 fresh water cats, 16 reds, 4 black drum. Great time had by all if your looking to go catching give Duvalle’s Cajun Charters a call.

Did a charter for Sweetwater Marina and Captain Jack today. The fishing was as hot as the weather, and if you know about the August heat then you know how good the bite was.

Yesterday I took my little buddy to go catch some dinner. I have to say he is turning into one heck of a fisherman. I enjoy all my trips out with my clients but nothing beats spending the day fishing with my #1 client.

The last 2 day’s I helped Captain Rykert Taladano from While Away Charters with a group that has been fishing with him for many years. Both days were a lot of the same Nonstop Action. We had huge mixed boxes each day. But what I was so impressed with yesterday we caught 12 Flounders and today we caught another 7. I guess the Flounder season closing from Mid November to January 1st is finally paying off. Fish totals for last 2 day’s not including the fish we had to throw back.

Today Craig and his crew wanted to head out to Breton Island to target Big Speckled Trout, but with thunderstorms all over by the Islands. We had to switch gears and we headed to the rocks to wait to see if the thunderstorms cleared. They did clear but by time they did we already had a box full of beautiful Specks
