On August 22nd, we had our 5th Annual Picnic! 5 years passed very quickly and we are into our 6th year! I love our community! I look forward to another 5 years and beyond! Thank you as always to everyone who supports Blue Dragon! I appreciate you!

Our 3rd day is over! We will be testing tomorrow on our final day! I have met some great people on this trip! The Taekwondo community is truly small because everyone knows everyone!

The International Taekwondo Master Qualification Course kicked off today! I am here earning the 2nd class as I have earned the 3rd class in 2022! Wish me luck! 😄

We had our Annual Car Wash this past Saturday, June 20th! As usual, we all had a ton of fun! What I remember most is the camaraderie! For many of our Parents and students, this was their first time participating in a Blue Dragon event and I loved it!!
I would like to take a moment to thank the Watt and Thompson Families for coming! I witnessed you all getting into the thick of things and getting wet too!
I further wish to thank all of our Parents and students who attended and helped to make this happen. Your generosity and time are always appreciated!
Last but not least, I thank all of our donors for your generosity as well! I would like to thank you for overlooking some of the spots we missed on your car! LOL!
The Elizabeth Watt PDCD Research Fund fundraiser on Facebook is still live through today if you or anyone you know might wish to donate! The total donated on the fundraiser thus far is $201.
The money raised from the Carwash itself was $890! The total raised was $1091.00 dollars and still climbing if others donate on Facebook today!
Again, thank you to everyone! We will do this again for them next year!

Saturday, May 16th, we had our bi-annual black belt test and it went really well! I am proud and happy with how our students performed! Well earned!!
Master Maryanne Foy came as usual to show her support! We also had Grandmaster Mark Seidel attend the black belt test. We reconnected on Facebook! We practiced together at Blue Dragon in Timonium back in the 1990's! I thank you both for your continued support! That is what we do at Blue Dragon Taekwondo School! Our community is second to none!!
Saturday, May 2nd, five of our competitors participated in the AAU Colorado District State Championship. All competed in forms and three competed in sparring. We came home with 8 gold medals! I say it all of the time, but I am proud of our students! They compete with dignity and class!!

After the USATKD State Championship, we attended a local tournament the week after on Saturday, April 18th. Ten of our own competed and did very well. I don't remember the medal count but all of our competitors earned at least 1 medal, many of which were gold!! I cannot express enough how proud I am of our students at Blue Dragon. All I can ask for is that they practice hard and be competitive on tournament day. They indeed are having fun while they are at it!
This past Saturday. April 11, 2026, 13 of our own competed in the USATKD Colorado State Championship! I am proud of all of our students who trained hard for this event!
We came home with 24 gold and 2 silver medals! Congratulations to your achievements my students! You earned it!!
Continue to learn what discipline is, work hard and you will continue to succeed!!
