Coral Acres Wellness Sanctuary

Wanted to share an update on our girl Grace, as she is four weeks postop. She had a cancerous tumor removed from her eye socket, and unfortunately, after speaking with the vets at CSU, they are certain that even though they removed everything that they could that the tiniest microscopic cells were left behind, and the tumor has already begun to regrow.

They told us what to look for and reassured us that she is not currently in any pain or discomfort, which has been obvious on our end. So for now, we will focus on letting her just be a horse, enjoying the pasture life with her herd, and seeing where the future leads us.

Whether you are hauling live animals, just hay or other random supplies, it can be a terrifying situation if your hitch fails you. We always talk about the importance of trailer maintenance, but we want to ensure that nobody is skipping the maintenance on their truck as well.
