UNC Wellness Centers offer many of the amenities traditionally associated with a high-end fitness facility, but adds a variety of clinical, health education, wellness, disease management and other programs that distinguish the facility and programs from traditional or non-medically based gyms and fitness centers. Integration of clinical programs such as Cardiac Rehab and Physical Therapy, programming for a variety of populations, community outreach programs, financial responsibility, strong membership retention, high customer satisfaction, and a commitment to disease management are all critical components to the mission of UNC Wellness Centers.
