Recreation Center to Feature Solar Energy Thanks to Qcells North America Partnership!
The City of Cartersville's new Recreation Center will soon be powered in part by the sun, thanks to a generous partnership with Qcells.
As part of the project, Qcells has donated a complete rooftop solar panel system, including installation, for the new facility. Once operational, the system will help offset a portion of the Recreation Center's energy consumption, reducing long-term operating costs while supporting the City's commitment to responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources.
The Recreation Center is designed to serve thousands of residents each year through youth sports, fitness programs, community events, and recreational activities. By incorporating renewable energy into the facility, the City is investing not only in a modern recreation destination, but also in a more efficient and sustainable future.
