Yesterday was a very special day: my student and black belt, Charles Medrano, and his wife, Jessica Medrano, celebrated their wedding and, before God and our Catholic Church, officially united their lives in the sacrament of marriage.

Charles, it has been more than 17 years of sharing this Jiu-Jitsu journey together. It has been an honor to watch your growth, dedication, and journey all the way to becoming a black belt. Today, I feel the same joy and pride in witnessing this beautiful new chapter of your life.

May God bless your marriage, protect your new home, and always be present throughout your journey together. May your lives always be filled with love, respect, companionship, health, faith, and countless happy moments.
