Returning to exercise after a herniated disc is often about rebuilding trust in your body one controlled movement at a time. πŸ’›

Patricio is both a physiotherapist and a bellicon trainer, and he selected these exercises to support a gradual return to movement, with an emphasis on posture, coordination, stability, and gentle cardiovascular activity.

Try this circuit:
Bent-over arm flutters: 30 seconds
Alternating arm drives: 30 seconds
Gentle march: 45 seconds
Low-to-high wood chop: 30 seconds per side

Rest for 30 to 60 seconds, then complete a second round for a gentle 5 to 7-minute workout. Keep every movement slow and controlled, use a very light bounce, and shorten the range of motion whenever needed.

This routine is intended for the post-recovery stage, not an active or newly diagnosed disc injury. Please get clearance from your doctor or physical therapist before returning to rebounding, particularly after surgery or if you still experience radiating pain, weakness, numbness, or tingling.

Has an injury ever changed the way you approach exercise? What helped you feel comfortable returning to movement? πŸ‘‡

Exercise does not have to leave you dreading the next workout to be effective. πŸ’›

Rebounding can provide a cardiovascular challenge while feeling gentler on the joints than repeated movement on a hard surface. Each bounce also asks the core, legs, glutes, and postural muscles to work together to maintain balance, coordination, and control.

For many people, the biggest benefit is that it feels enjoyable enough to keep coming back to, and consistency is often what helps movement create lasting results.

What do you think: should a workout feel hard to be worthwhile, or is finding movement you enjoy more important? We would love to hear your take. πŸ‘‡

If you have ever wondered about the difference between the classic bellicon and the bellicon Jumping Fitness model, this side-by-side is a helpful place to start πŸ’™

Thanks to Sanfran Fitness for showing both models in action so you can see how they compare.

The classic bellicon is the more customizable option, with multiple sizes, different mat choices, a full range of bungee strengths, color options, and fold-up or screw-in legs. The Jumping Fitness model is a 54" frame with a standard mat, ultra bungees, and a setup designed specifically for high-intensity workouts.

Both have the same max weight capacity of 441 lbs, but they are built with different needs and preferences in mind.

Which one would you choose for your movement style? Let us know in the comments πŸ‘‡

For many women, the follicular phase can bring a noticeable shift in how movement feels. πŸ’›

After menstruation, hormone levels begin to change, and that often comes with more energy, more motivation, and a greater sense of readiness for exercise. That is one reason this phase can be a good time to lean into workouts that feel more dynamic, like cardio, strength, or more coordinated movement patterns.

Of course, every body is different. The goal is not to force intensity. It is to notice when your body feels more open to challenge and use that information to train in a way that feels supportive and sustainable.

As we begin part 1 of this series, we would love to hear from you: do you notice certain times in your cycle when movement feels easier or stronger? πŸ‘‡

We are excited to introduce Anne to our community. πŸ’›

Anne will be guiding us through a new series on cycle-based training and why it can be so helpful for women to understand how the menstrual cycle may influence energy, strength, recovery, and the way movement feels from week to week.

For many women, this can be a powerful mindset shift. Not every workout has to look the same all month long. Learning to work with your body instead of against it can help movement feel more supportive, more effective, and more sustainable over time.

Tonight, we will begin with part 1 of the series: the follicular phase ✨

Have you ever noticed changes in your workouts across different phases of your cycle? We would love to hear your experience in the comments πŸ‘‡

Ever wondered why gyms are replacing rows of equipment with just... rebounders? Because bellicon isn't just another piece of gear. It's reclaimed childhood wonder wrapped in German-engineered precision. πŸ’«

Treadmills grind your knees. Pilates reformers cost a fortune. But put bellicon rebounders in your facility and watch members light up. Suddenly cardio feels like playground time again - the kind where you forgot you were working out because you're having too much fun bouncing back into your body.

Our rebounders use handcrafted bungees, not metal springs, so every bounce absorbs shock instead of sending it straight through your joints. That's why physical therapists trust us for rehab... and NBA athletes trust us for high-intensity training. Same motion, different intensities.

πŸ”Ή Joint-friendly yet full-body explosive
πŸ”Ή Stackable footprint beats stationary bikes
πŸ”Ή One machine = endless workout variations
πŸ”Ή People keep coming back because it FEELS good.

Your members deserve to move with JOYβ€”not dread the treadmill queue. And you deserve floor space that actually gets used.

Ready to upgrade your studio with the rebound revolution everyone's talking about? Drop us a DM to see how bellicon transforms membership retention from the first bounce. 🎯

Core weakness does not always show up as a β€œcore problem.” Sometimes it shows up as back tension, tight hips, poor posture, or that feeling that other parts of the body are always working harder than they should.

That is why rebuilding core strength matters so much. Your core helps support balance, posture, and the way force moves through the body in everyday life. And it does not have to start with intense ab work. Gentle, consistent movement can be a really effective place to begin.

On the bellicon, the body has to make small adjustments with every bounce, shift, and hold. That can help wake up the deeper stabilizing muscles that support coordination, control, and postural strength, all without the harsh impact of harder surfaces.

Have you ever noticed core weakness showing up somewhere other than your abs? We would love to hear where your body tends to compensate. πŸ‘‡

Can you travel with your bellicon? Yes - and we get that question a lot. β˜€οΈπŸš˜βœˆοΈ

If you want the most portable setup, our best tip is to use the bellicon carry case and choose the 39" model with fold-up legs. That combination makes it easier to bring your bellicon along and keep moving while you’re away from home.

For many people, travel does not mean leaving movement behind. It just means finding a setup that is easier to carry, store, and take with you.

Have you ever taken your bellicon on a trip, or is this something you’ve been curious about? Let us know in the comments πŸ‘‡
