The 6th and 7th grade football teams today helped our friends at Southwire prep for the upcoming back to-school supplies give away! Great work guys!

Congratulations to Trojan cheer standout Katelyn Hembree on being selected as a Top 30 finalist for the GCCA Cheerleader of the Year in the 5A-7A classification!

Katelyn earned this honor through a competitive application process that evaluated her essay, GPA, school involvement, athletic and academic achievements, and letters of recommendation from her teachers and coaches.

She will compete on Aug. 1 at Columbus State University, where she will perform a routine and participate in an interview before a panel of judges for the opportunity to be named GCCA Cheerleader of the Year or a spot in the Top 16.

Today, we had the privilege of welcoming back Trojan Hall of Fame member Dylan Parham ('17)! Dylan visited our NFL Wall of Fame while on campus. He just signed a new deal and will be playing for the New York Jets this upcoming NFL season!

Congratulations to Trojan varsity volleyball players Kaylee Whitmire and Ansley Mitchell, who are competing at the 2026 USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship in Indianapolis, Indiana. This prestigious tournament brings together the top youth club volleyball teams from across the country to compete for national championships in their respective divisions. They are pictured at Lucas Oil Stadium home of the NFL's Indianapolis Colts.

Congratulations to CHS head football coach Joey King on being recognized by MaxPreps as one of the Top 100 high school coaches in the nation who made a significant impact on their program during the 2025-26 school year! This honor was given among all high school sports.

NEW CAMP ALERT!!!

Registration is now open for the Carrollton Girls Lacrosse Youth Camp.

The camp is open to rising first- through eighth-grade students and will be hosted by the Carrollton High School girls lacrosse team and coaching staff.

Dates: July 20-24, 2026
Time: 9:30-11 a.m.
Location: Swamp Field/Band Practice Field
Cost: $125 per camper

Come learn the fundamentals of lacrosse, develop your skills, and have fun with Carrollton's players and coaches. Two former Trojans made their mark on the national stage this weekend at the Adidas Track Nationals in Greensboro, North Carolina! Khalen Pinkard (pictured) claimed a national title in the triple jump, finishing first in the event, while Izear Wimberley earned All-American honors with an eighth-place finish in the high jump. Congratulations to Khalen and Izear on these outstanding accomplishments and for continuing to represent CHS so well!
