The black belt is not the final destination—it is a symbol of perseverance, responsibility, and countless hours of commitment.

Quality vs. Quantity! It’s not always about learning something new. It should be about perfecting and understanding the first technique through the most current information shown and having the patience and understanding to accept your instructors timing when you should be introduced to the next technique and concept. That’s why you “study” your art and build your student/instructor relationship and not just “do” your art!
