Two TSPGA Tickets Punched! 🎟️🎟️

The 17u Hot Shots, coached by Troy Williams, and 13u Diamond Run 1, coached by Adam Morrison, captured the Region 2 PGA Jr. League titles this weekend at Drumlins Country Club (Syracuse University), NY, against teams from Central New York, Northeast New York, and Western New York.

Once again, the TSPGA demonstrated its dominance in Region 2. Both Tri-State PGA Jr. League teams (17u and 13u) are now regional champions and will advance to the PGA Jr. League National Championships and will proudly represent as Team Pennsylvania.

Congratulations to all the players, and especially to PGA coaches Troy Williams and Adam Morrison, who have been at the helm and led the PGAJL dominance through their coaching and leadership year after year.

We also send our respect and appreciation to the players and coaches of the 6 TSPGA Junior League teams that competed in the tournament in Syracuse, two of which were the runners-up.

The HOT SHOTS (Team Pennsylvania) will compete against eleven 17u All-Star teams in the 17u PGA Jr. League Championship, which returns to Twin Warriors Golf Club in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico, Oct. 22-25, 2026.

DIAMOND RUN 1 (Team Pennsylvania) will compete against eleven 13u All-Star teams in the 13u PGA Jr. League Championship, returning to PGA Frisco's Fields Ranch West, Nov. 11-15, 2026.

Good Luck! The PGA Jr. League Regional Championships are currently taking place nationwide. EIGHT PGA Jr. League All-Star teams (four 17u & four 13u) will represent the Tri-State PGA, which includes our Section Champions, The Hot Shots (17u) and Diamond Run (13u), led by head coaches Troy Williams and Adam Morrison, respectively and 6 teams that qualified for the tournament via the Regional Leaderboard. They will compete in Region 2 at Drumlins Country Club in Syracuse, NY, against teams from Central New York, Northeast New York, and Western New York to determine which teams will advance to the 17u and 13u PGA Jr. League Championships.

Congratulations to the Chartiers Country Club Pro-Member Champions, led by TSPGA Professional Jeff Campbell of Allegheny Country Club, and his Chartiers CC Member team of Charles Delaney, Von Kurty, Scott Seabright, and Kyle Wensel.

We also celebrate a Hole-In-One by Randy McKay (Moon Township, PA), the third of his career, on the par-3 11th hole from 180 yards with a 7-wood.
